A toast with Ran Danker

A faculty toast to mark the upcoming 2023-2024 year

On September 23, Afeka held a festive event for faculty members and their partners.

The event, toasting the upcoming 2023-2024 academic year, was held at the college’s ficus garden, and included a lavish dinner with a tropical cocktail bar, a 360° photo station with souvenir videos, a Shabbat challah from Shemo Bakery which was handed out at the end of the evening, and more.

The high point of the evening was when Ran Danker took the garden stage for a full-length concert that swept the crowd. Danker even stepped down to join the crowd, singing numerous songs while standing, dancing, and enjoying himself alongside Afeka’s employees.

At the end of the concert, the singer had this message for the faculty: “I had a lovely time performing for the faculty members. They were simply amazing.”

College president Prof. Ami Moyal opened the evening by wishing a happy new year to all faculty members, on both the personal and individual levels, and toasting the college’s continued growth and success.
