For the past several years Afeka has been transforming the educational process of its engineering students. The underlying goal is to produce graduates with the knowledge, skills and values needed in the modern workforce. Throughout the process, we have gained many insights that can be applied to change in any educational process – and certainly in STEM fields – whether in the classroom, through a local municipality or on a national level.

The "Afeka Framework" is a proposal for planning and executing change in the STEM education process along the entire educational continuum, by implementing a unique approach based on the principles of engineering design – an approach that is used by engineers in developing products andtechnologies, but can also be used for managing a change process.
