ד"ר עופר זיו

ד"ר עופר זיו הוא מרצה בכיר באפקה. בעל תואר דוקטור בהנדסת חשמל מאוניברסיטת בינגהמטון ולימודי המשך באוניברסיטת הרווארד. ד"ר זיו מחזיק בניסיון מקצועי עשיר, הכולל תפקידים כמדען בפרויקט שתל רשתית בבוסטון, כמדען אורח ב,MIT. כמו כן , כיהן במספר תפקידי מפתח בחברות ביטחוניות מובילות כגון רפאל, לוקהיד מרטין ואלביט (קולסמן). מחקריו מתמקדים בסימולציה חישובית של הרשתית, תחום שתלי הרשתית ומערכות ראייה מלאכותית. ד"ר זיו הוא שותף בתשעה פטנטים בתחום טכנולוגיות הראייה הלילית ופרסם מחקרים רבים בכתבי עת מדעיים מובילים.
