What makes this program unique
What sets the graduate program in systems engineering at Afeka College apart is its special emphasis on providing a broad scientific basis, through engineering studies in mathematics, statistics, and physics. Some of the subjects are studied in English. The program’s students complete a research-oriented graduation project. The three specializations offered by the program were formulated to meet industry needs, and to provide the background and expertise for the classical roles filled by systems engineers: system manager, system architect, and system analyst.
The curriculum for the graduate program in systems engineering at Afeka is based on the increasing industry demand for this profession. Today’s multi-system consumer products and services are more complex, smaller in size, and based on rapidly-changing technologies. The program trains alumni to take on technology leadership roles at the industry’s various manufacturing and service organizations.
The faculty members of the systems engineering program are seasoned veterans of academia and industry, including CEOs and senior executives at organizations such as Israel Aerospace Industries, Elbit, Teva, Amdocs, and others.
Professional specialization tracks
The graduate program in systems engineering at Afeka offers a central multidisciplinary track, and three classical specializations: system manager, system architect, and system analyst. The elective courses on offer include several sub-disciplines of systems engineering – such as energy systems, aerospace systems, and more.
