Dr. Omer Perry holds a Ph.D. in Health Systems Management from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, where he received Dean’s Honors. He is a lecturer at Afeka’s School of Industrial Engineering and Management and Head of the Information Systems and Smart Industry track.

His research focuses on developing quantitative models, algorithms, and technological systems to understand human decision-making processes and improve performance in complex systems.

A central area of his research involves the development and evaluation of simulators and decision-making models for mass casualty incidents. His work integrates human factors engineering, clinical metrics, information processing, and machine learning. He also fosters international research collaborations, including a partnership with Linköping University in Sweden focused on medical simulations and the assessment of decision-making.
