Choosing a project management methodology includes many factors and above all the desire for the development people to be satisfied and develop the best product in the shortest time. Choosing to manage projects using the SCRUM method is not only an administrative decision, but changes the rules of the game for all parties in the organization and for the product's customers.
The soft skills of staff members and management are important in this method, the entire staff must go through a revolution to welcome changes at every stage. The transparency with the client to create involvement and commitment of all parties in the project is critical in this method.
The issue of long planning never happens in Scrum yet, it is a process that must be carried out using new tools to keep the system running at the client's side alongside frequent changes that require the use of new technologies.
