Dr. Oz Golan

Congratulations to Dr. Oz Golan and Dr. Oshrit Hofer on receiving an R&D grant from the Israel Innovation Authority and on joining the NDT consortium.

The three major industries, Elbit, Rafael, and Israel Aerospace Industries, have joined forces with additional partners and academic institutions to enhance the performance of UAVs and aircraft by preventing failures before they occur.

The consortium includes several R&D programs operating in synergy among the participants and focuses on developing advanced non-destructive testing (NDT) methods for composite materials, Additive manufacturing, and new ceramic materials, an essential need for global industry.

This is the first initiative of its kind worldwide in the field of NDT, bringing together leading industries, which define future market needs, development goals, and regulatory requirements, with academia and technology developers. Together, they will develop innovative and groundbreaking solutions.
This collaboration will enable the maturation of advanced and efficient technologies and will strengthen the advantage of Israeli industry, both civilian and defense, on the international stage.
The Innovation Authority’s consortium program is prestigious and intended for breakthrough research.
