Afeka’s researcher conference was a success!

The conference, led by the Equator program and the Research Authority, examined barriers and challenges in academia, and ways to overcome them.

Afeka president Prof. Yossi Rosenwaks stressed the fact that research is a key growth engine for Afeka’s positioning and for promoting teaching.

Lecturers from Afeka, Tel Aviv University, and the Hebrew University shared insights on career-building, international collaborations, and developing equal and inclusive leadership.

The conference sent a clear message: The academic path is challenging and requires major investment, but it is rewarding and enables researchers to broaden their horizons, gain professional recognition, and affect the future of higher education.

The conference was initiated and led by Prof. Dalia Fishelov, the president’s advisor on gender issues.

Thank you to everyone who took part in making this a meaningful, inspiring conference.
