At Afeka, the graduation project is much more than an academic assignment.
In the entrepreneurial graduation project track, students develop engineering solutions with applied and commercial potential.

The track culminates with a competition that ends in the winners being announced.

This festive competition, produced in collaboration with the graduation projects section and Afeka’s Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship, reflects the connection between technology, market needs, and commercialization abilities – a key juncture of the engineering and high tech worlds.

The latest competition included students, academic supervisors, members of faculty, family members, and a judges panel featuring representatives from Afeka and industry – as well as leading guest judges from the worlds of entrepreneurship and high tech, who brought a wealth of experience in guiding startups, investments, and business growth.

🥇 FIRST PRIZE was awarded to a project that presented a solution with lifesaving potential, designed to operate in field conditions, by School of Medical Engineering students Lital Znati and Dov Hacohen, supervised by Mr. Nahum Orlev.

✨ Additional projects presented at the competition included:

A smart monitor for analyzing vital signs in babies – from the School of Medical Engineering

A smart system for choosing perfumes – from the School of Industrial Engineering and Management

Afeka continues to connect engineering knowledge, entrepreneurship, and meaningful work – giving its students the tools to transform ideas into solutions that impact the real world.
