Afeka provides students with an opportunity to gain an education in engineering, while at the same providing a much more personal approach – one that can only be achieved by smaller institutions.
One of the first principles established by the college was a practical hands-on approach to technological education. Theoretical study is enhanced by laboratory activities that simulate a real-world work environment This allows students to gain skills that are applicable to a modern industrial environment. Small classrooms of up to 40 students, allow the educational faculty the opportunity to follow the progress of each student closely and offer support when needed.
At Afeka, nurturing creativity, an entrepreneurial spirit and an understanding of engineering teamwork culture are paramount. To this effect, Afeka offers its student body opportunities to flourish in these respects via special programs. Furthermore, some classes at Afeka are offered only in English, so as to prepare students to communicate in the international world of technology.
