Seeking to keep its curriculum of studies relevant to industrial development in the country, the founders of Afeka (ACE) linked its policy-making bodies to the business and industry leadership of the country. Its board of governors and executive committee includes leaders in major industries and business including ELAL, WizSoft, a major software house, Boeing Israel, The Formula Group, Israel’s largest publicly owned software group, Motorola and many others.
On a daily basis Afeka College maintains ongoing ties with industry to advance the following goals and mutual interests:
- Providing employment for its students and graduates
- Promoting engineering innovations initiated by students and faculty
- Utilizing College resources to develop solutions to technological problems
- Keeping curriculum current with ever-evolving new developments in technology
The Afeka Campus - Located in the Heart of High Tech Opportunity
As in many success stories location has played a major role in the development of the Afeka College of Engineering. The two existing buildings and landscaped garden settings, that make up the Afeka Campus, are located in a modern residential area of Tel Aviv. Most of Israel’s high tech industry is within a half hour drive of the campus, making the College an accessible natural resource for manpower and new ideas.
